Scrapbook Set

We went to Costco a few weeks ago and I got one of these it has loads of stuff in it and the box that its in is really nice and sturdy and is 12"x 12". I have opened it up but not used anything yet.
You can get in this colour or a blue one I choose this one as the blue one had a bit too much yellow on it.
This cost £25.00 and I'm really pleased with it.
Click on the picture for a better view of whats included.

Halloween Kit

I have a new Halloween Kit coming very soon there is loads of papers and stuff included and it only costs £2.49 so keep and eye out for it over on .

I have included all the elements individually so that you can re size them yourself.

I have made my card from one piece of A4 with my choice of items placed on the paper using Photoshop and I only had to print it once so quite a saving on ink.

I have printed one of the circle elements to fit in a badge machine which is why the card looks a bit wonky as I put it in my scanner. I read somewhere that badges were going to be one of the in things this year!.

Kaboodle Doodles Challenge 4

Well this week over at the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge blog we really want to set you a challenge!!! With our purse strings getting tighter and consequently our crafting budget forever shrinking :( we want to see you do a little bit of recycling!!! Our challenge to you this week is to use a non-traditional crafting element on your project. Now this can be anything that you wouldnt normally use or see in a craft shop e.g tickets, carrier bag, safety pins, fabric - one to really get you thinking this week!!

I have used a platic bag and some garden twine.

Sooooo !!!! Excited

Just booked our tickets for Lapland UK, we got an early booking code sent via email as we missed out last year. I'm so excited already, I love Christmas and I have to keep it from Harrison until the day just in case the weather is rubbish and we cant go.
They send an invite to the children asking for there help in getting organised So I will leave it out on the morning of our trip for Harrison to see.
I know he will love it, He will be eight by the time we go and still loves Father Christmas and I feel that maybe this is the last year before he starts asking questions.
I hope I'm wrong and he goes on believing for a bit longer.
I cant wait, go and have a look, ticket sales start on the 8Th Sept and it looks really magical.

Childrens papercraft club

Thank you for your comments, the children loved the things we made and I did a second one last week . Its hard work getting it all organised as they seem to whizz through things.
I'm going to do foam and rubber stamping this week as well as a project I got from the site that Lulu recommended (see comments from post below).

Childrens papercraft club

I volunteered myself to run a craft club for year 2 children (6 to 7 years olds ) at my Son's school.
My first one is tomorrow afternoon after school and including my Son I have 12 children barering in mind that there are only 18 children in his class. I have saved the large tins from work( large bake bean tins ) and I have just covered them with paper so that the children can decorate them to use as ( bits and bobs storage ). I would like the children to take something they have made home every week .
Im hoping they wont be too bored, if anyone has any ideas or already runs a group I would love to know what the children prefer to do/enjoy doing most.
Im kinda looking forward to it, I think lol !

This is the cake I made for my friends Daughters 18th birthday

Where do the years go !!!!!!

OMG !!! My friends Daughter is 18 tomorrow, I have made her a cake which I will add a pic of later but here is something I made her.

They wanted pictures and a few words to add to a book for her but as I don't do pictures I made this and printed it out for them.

The colours match those on the cake ( lime green and cerise ) and they look rather nice.
She is doing an art course at the mo and loves homemade bits.

I was Asked to do a product review by Design Objectives.
The product was a 3L Scrapbook Adhesive Runner and the purchase price is £4.99.
The review consists of some questions which I have answered below.
1. How often do you use adhesive?
I use adhesive all the time and different sorts on one project.
2. What is the main type of adhesive you use?
Double sided tape and tape runners.
3. what do you look for in an adhesive?
Ease of use and re positionable until rubbed down.
4. How easy is the product to remove from its packaging?
Very easy.
5. Does the product appeal to you-i.e. does it look good?
Yes ,but maybe a different choice of colour.
6. How easy is the product to use?
I found it very easy to use, and it didn't clog up.
7. How well does the product perform?
Good, no clogging and smooth application, but maybe not so much adhesive is needed as the runner leaves a line of small strips and perhaps every other one would be less wasteful.
8. Do you like this product?
9. Do you consider it good value for money?
Not bad, it is a bit pricey at £4.99 but then again if it doesn't clog I think I would use it.
10. Would you consider buying this product in the future?
Yes. I suffer with Arthritis and found the holding position and ease of use good. Not much pressure is needed to work the runner.
11. What would make you more likely to buy this product in the future?
Choice of colour and making it refillable.
12. What would make you less likely to buy this product in the future?
If the price increased further.

I came across these lovley papers the other day and decided to buy the commercial license for them.
